WORK EXPERIENCE:

I've spent 10 years working in call centers of one kind or another. Type of work includes directory assistance operator, internet shop orders & returns, computer help-desk support, and health benefits Annual Enrollment. In one position as a Customer Service Coordinator, I took trouble calls on a toll-free line and entered the fax or copier customer's information into an automated communications system. The information went directly to the Blackberry's of the technicians who would then call the customer to set up the repair visit. I also took orders for toner and paper.

I have provided Technician related services for Verizon Wireless customers in a retail location. I tested people's mobile phones, repairing them if I could, and replaced them if necessary.

For three years I was a Customer Service Representative selling Palm Pilots over the internet and handling phone inquiries about orders. After leaving the company, I was leader of the Central Florida Palm Users Group for two years.

I published a newsletter, space·launch·info It was made up of public information available from NASA. I sold the newsletter to the tourists that lined the Indian River on launch day to give them information about the flight they were going to see launched. The business folded after the Shuttle Program was shut down in 2011 followingSTS-135.

I am a volunteer docent at the US Air Force Space & Missile Museum at Launch Complex 26 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. I also help with the website of theAmerican Space Museum in Titusville (formerly the Space Walk of Fame Museum). I was also a volunteer at the "World Cup USA 94"™, and was a volunteer with the Orlando City Soccer Club for the club's first two years. As a "Fan Activity", I have set up a Match Schedule Web Site for reading the schedule of both of the OCSC teams on one page on mobile phone web browsers.

As a ham radio operator, I've provided disaster communications following hurricanes, during wildfires, and in support of special events. I also drive the BEARS1 vehicle of the Brevard Emergency Amateur Radio Service when called up for activities in support of Brevard County Emergency Management.
